Our Presidents note has captured almost everything that I would have wanted to cover, and so it leaves me to not only thank the Directors, Committee, Players, Members and Supporters for their continued efforts and support, but to also share with you the clubs aims for the future.
After taking over as Chairman in 2019, I am extremely pleased how together we have been able to re-energise all parts of the club and set down some real goals for the future. I have included in this section ‘Our vision for the future – Securing the next two hundred years’ presentation, which shows how we intend to secure our clubs future.
Our Director of Cricket, Pete Shaw, 1st XI Captain Sam Smart, and Academy Co-Ordinator Kyle Chamberlain are working hard to drive the club forward, and along with the support of the Directors and Committee, we are all focused on our club goals, which is to improve playing standards across the club and build for the future from within our Academy.
We continue with our aims to redevelop our clubhouse and ground, and once a successful deal can be agreed with a developer, we will complete the work as quickly as possible to provide the best facilities for our players and members.
The current Covid situation is terrible for everyone and we should all work together as a club, to not only look out for each other, but also for those around us. I look forward to a safe future and to being able to celebrate our Centenary of playing cricket at Keats Lane in 2021.
We welcome new players and members to our great club. Please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org or any Committee member, should you wish to join us on our exciting journey of improvement
